We started in purebred dogs in the 1970s by breeding Irish Setters under the Sunnylane prefix. We bred an American champion and several Canadian champions. When we moved to Arizona in the early 1980s, it became necessary to downsize the dog...we chose English Cockers.

We got our first English Cocker in 1988. We met Colleen Schlesinger (Tylerthyme English Cockers), but she did not have any puppies at the time. She referred us to Sue Ernst, and we got Cowboy (Aberdeen Lead on MacDuff, CD). After Cowboy died in the Summer of 1995, we again went to Colleen to find an EC. She didn't have any puppies at the time, but was planning a litter soon. She offerred us Beatrix (Ch. Copperclad Wish Upon a Star). That fall we got our first English Cocker to show, Alexander (Ch. Tylerthyme Blue Suede Shoes).

We have gotten two other English Cockers from Colleen, Hazel (Ch. Tylerthyme Toil and Trouble) and Wanda (Ch. Tylerthyme Witch 'N' Famous, WD). We have also co-bred and co-owned several other dogs with Colleen. We can never thank her enough for the guidance and support she gave us, and for the wonderful dogs she shared with us.

Our foundation bitch, Madeline (Ch. Jaybriar's Reincarnate), was bred by Judy Corbett. Madeline is from the final litter out of Witch (BIS/BISS Ch. Jaybriar's Heretic, NA ECM), and we will be eternally grateful to Judy for allowing us to have her. Madeline is the dam of five champions, with several others pointed.

All of our dogs go back to Madeline, either through her daughter Charm (Ch. After Hours Witchcraft), dam of Wyatt (BISS GCh. After Hours Shoot 'Em Up ECM) or through her daughter Charlotte (Ch. After Hours Time of My Life), dam of Kat (GCh. After Hours Topsail Please Hold CD RE SWN RATS TKN CGC ECM) and Cheyenne (Ch. After Hours Tell Me Why).

We have bred five Specialty Best of Breed winning dogs, and numerous others with Sweepstakes, WD/WB, Select, and AOM awards at Specialties...we look forward to what the future generations hold!
